Obéissance, Amour et la Gentillesse

Bonjour à tous (Hello everyone) I hope you all are happy, safe, and doing good things!

This week was good as the Lord again performed His miracles for us! Honestly, I am grateful for all of you: you show me or you have shown me that God is good and He merits all the praise. In all reality, it's Him who makes this joyful work progress forward.

As for experiences from this week, I have gained a deeper appreciation for the truthfulness and the power of what God teaches us. We met with a family which we hadn't taught for a while: Sœur Reine et ses sœurs. We first met them after trying to teach their moms the law of chastity but....let's just say that didn't fly with them personally. However, they were completely willing to let us teach their daughters! We were teaching them for a while but school and traveling got in the way and we hadn't been over there for a good amount of time. So after a ratez-vous (missed appointment), Elder Kiniona had the impression that we should go over there. I agreed. We arrived at their parcel, 2 des filles nous ont vus et elles ont dit "C'est les missionnaires! C'est les soldats de Dieu!" (Two of the girls saw us and they said "It's the missionaries! It's the soldiers of God!") With excitement they let us enter the parcel and we talked with their mom. She let us start teaching them again!

Before we arrived they had been arguing. We taught them selon le Saint Esprit (according to the Holy Spirit). He taught them obéissance, amour et la gentillesse (obedience, love, and kindness). It was a beautiful sight to watch their sarcastic, poking, and prodding responses to our questions turn into real committed desires. That is the power of God. To change a heart and change a life. 

It amazes how missionnaires font cette œuvre (do this work). We are not perfect but we try. We don't deserve by our own efforts to obtain the power of God unto the changing of someone's life. God does not owe us this. Instead in His loving mercy, He gives us His power to change lives as we lovingly, hopefully, and humbly show Him our faith by improving ourselves by the grace of His son. I stand all amazed at what He has done for me and for those that I love. 

That was the experience I found to be especially moving this week: the changing of a heart and the desires within it.

As for funny experiences from this last week, I ate cow heart and it was really good. But....then it destroyed me the next day haha. I might eat it again tonight so...we'll see how that goes haha. 

I would like to sincerely express my appreciation and love for all of you. You have supported me with your light, your love, and your prayers. Like always, if I could request anything or something, please pray for me and my collègue (companion) that the people in our corner of the Lord's field will soften their hearts to the Spirit.

Little things

Bonjour à tous (Hello everyone) et mboté! 

I hope you all are doing well! I hope you had a good week and that if you didn't that Dieu fera grâce et qu'il fera votre semaine merveilleuse (God will give grace and that He will make your week wonderful)! 

This week was good! We had a Zone Conference, which was awesome! The Lord knows each of us personally, and definitely makes available many opportunities to learn and grow! The Lord has been performing miracles for us! He has been making it very clear to us that He exists!

I hope you all can find peace and joy in knowing that God exists and that He loves you! I witness that if we keep His commandments because of our faith and love for Him, He will manifest His love to us. He does so by the power of the Holy Spirit. He does so by the power of redemption which was perfectly extended to us by His Son Jesus the Christ! I testify that God acts among us and He is guiding His people today like He did in ancient times by His servants the Prophets. Despite what the world might tell you God is there and He loves you.

Let Him guide you, and you will know He is there. You will have peace and joy. I have found this knowledge, this peace, and this joy in letting Him guide me. I know He can do the same for you in a very personal and loving manner. Read the scriptures. I love you all. I do all that I can for you au nom du Christ (in the name of Christ).

Bonjour tout le monde! J'espère que vous allez tous bien et que vous êtes en train de trouver beaucoup de miracles dans votre vie (Hello everybody! Hope you are all doing well and finding lots of miracles in your life)!

Our week was very inspiring! Like usual the Lord showed His hand in many magnificent ways and through some very breathtaking people! 

This week we were very lucky to see many of our friends come unto Christ. I love helping others come to the Savior and be filled with His love. I stand as a witness that the blessings which come from His purifying love (which are infinite in number, and infinite in the density of happiness). Peace of conscience is something that God himself paid for with the Price of His Son.

So every time I can see someone like Sœur Cecilia understand that she can be sanctified by Him, my heart is filled with a reassurance que Dieu est réel (that God is real). 

Elder Kiniona is a stud. He loves to walk fast. One day we found ourselves contacting people in a part of our secteur where we haven't worked much. Elder Kiniona started booking it like usual and at this moment I was pretty tired. I prayed. I prayed that I could keep up with him and that I could have the ability to walk as fast as him. 

So here we are walking down the road and he starts walking even faster. I'm talking his pace is like an Olympic racer for walking! 

There's no way I should've been able to keep up with him. But I did! With the Lord's help, I started keeping pace with him! 

I'm doing all that I know: stride like the mom from "The Goldbergs", swing my arms like sasquatch, breathing slowly and deeply like I'm boxing with Bro. Campbell again. We are going stride for stride now. It was really funny because people started cheering us on!  《Ah regardez le mundèlé!》They said 《Ah le mundelé à la tête! Non c'est l'afrikain! Ah, c'est trôp proche à dire (Ah the mundelé at the head! No it's the African! Ah that's too close to say)!》

It was really fun, the Lord took my fatigue away, which felt miraculous. There were 3 kilos entre nous et la maison (1.86 miles between us and the house). We walked like that, in unity, all the home. 

Also, I found out once we were home the reason why we walked that fast all the home. Beans...My collègue loves to eat beans but they don't love him back, haha. 

I hope you enjoyed the story! The Lord answers prayers so we know He is and so we may have joy!

Chocolate Popcorn

Bonjour à tous! Sachez que je vous aime infiniment (Hello everyone! Know that I love you infinitely)! I honestly hope you all can feel our Heavenly Father love every day! Je prie que vous ressentissiez son Esprit chaque moment (I pray that you will feel his Spirit every moment).

This week was good. I got the covid-19 vaccine. As you can see, these photos perfectly capture my pain. It was alright.

This week I had some cool experiences with general conference. We made chocolate popcorn as we listened to conference. I had many questions going into this conference. Heavenly Father answered them instantly! 

I would like to share a little thought about repentance. Repentance is how we apply the grâce, miséricorde et mérites of Jésus Christ (grace, mercy, and merits of Jesus Christ) in our lives (2 Néphi 2: 6-8). In doing so He helps us become more like Him (Moroni 7:48, Mosiah 3:19). We convert our natural selves into our celestial selves by repenting and using l'Expiation du Christ (the Atonement of Christ). I have found peace, happiness, and joy in reforming myself to the will of God by repenting grâce au Christ (thanks to Christ) (Alma 12:33-34; DC 18: 10-17). 

It is a great and eye-opening experience to helps others come unto Christ. This experience should never end for us as converted disciples of Christ.
